How fun for you, Mary, that you have a piano to play once again. I think it is great that you do something just for you. My piano was sadly ignored so just recently was moved to Amy’s new home. Hopefully, someone there will pay attention to it. Thanks for commenting. mc

Great writing Maggie. You really got me thinking, and I have to say that while it wasn’t conscious moving forward, I have crawled out of the shell I’ve been in the past few months and have been much more outgoing with making acquaintances, and hopefully friends, in my new neighborhood. I joined a group in the neighborhood that works on charitable projects and I’m not usually a joiner.
By the way, J.Jill’s has much better bargains than Chico’s, but Chico’s is more artsy. J.Jill clothes last forever.

Hi Maggie.
Good for you at attempting new things or making changes. Tom gave me a piano for my 60th birthday and I still work at playing. Have not had lessons since 4th grade and don’t intend to take any now, but just sitting and playing what I can for myself is quite satisfying. I never allow an audience–this is just for me.
