I can identify with your feelings about attending reunions or any event when you are not sure whether you will be comfortable. Tom and I had our 50th reunions last year. Mine was a luncheon at a hotel with just the girls--I attended Holy Angels when it was an all girl school. It was okay, and I was happy I went, but then I still see some of my high school friends. Tom's was way more fun because I was invited (Tom went to DeLaSalle and back then it was just a guy school). We were pleasantly surprised because his reunion was held right at the school. We were given a tour, had a Mass in the auditorium, and the rest was in the gym--open bar all evening, splendid dinner, and just a lot of fun reminiscing with old friends. Tom and I were glad we went and I know you will be too.
