I appreciate silence as you do, especially living in this hectic world…people hurrying about, impatient drivers. Even the silence of my house when I’m home alone is welcome. I love to walk and I walk whenever I can. I prefer to walk by myself (unless I’m with my sisters or Tom) because I enjoy listening to the beautiful world around me, I can be alone with my thoughts or I can just pray. It must have been a refreshing experience for you.
