My name is Maggie.  I spend my days trying to gracefully maneuver through life in my 70s, the age decade into which I am firmly ensconced.  I have been married to my high school sweetheart for more than 50 years.  We live in a suburb of Minneapolis-St. Paul, and our family consists of a daughter, son, their spouses and two grandsons.  I am enjoying retirement after working for nearly 40 years as an administrative assistant.  I love family time, gardening, reading, writing and paying attention to healthy living activities.

In this blog I hope to include lifestyle topics that will be of interest to those of you in the second half of your life; and, in so doing, will perhaps enlighten you or make you laugh – hopefully, not anger you.  I believe we can all learn from each other, so feel free to offer comments on anything of particular interest to you.

I welcome you on this journey, and hope you find something that inspires you to live life to the fullest…ignoring the wind, which since I dislike that particular weather element immensely, represents negatives for me!
